With the rise of big data and data-driven decision-making processes, the provision and management of data is becoming increasingly important. Our team is responsible for providing a central platform for curating and managing data and enforcing centralized governance.
Job Description
- Plan, develop and implement an optimal data architecture on the Google platform to provide a high-quality foundation for analysis and machine learning use cases.
- Collaborate with analysts, product managers and backend developers to understand and implement data requirements.
- Supporting the design and implementation of new extraction, transformation and loading processes from various data sources
- Utilizing and ensuring state-of-the-art methodologies (CI/CD) to deliver a future-proof scalable form.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Experience in creating scalable data pipelines.
- Familiarity with custom ETL design and maintenance.
- Knowledge of XML & JSON data formats.
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar).
- Programming skills in R, Python, Java etc.
- Experience in creating data workflows via Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow or similar tools.
- Experience in communicating via REST APIs.
- General experience in delivering a scaled data and analytics platform.
- Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- High level of ownership and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- English knowledge in spoken and written
