Job Description

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Product Manager to join our CRM team at Perfumes Christian Dior. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of our data-driven products, ensuring they meet our business goals and provide significant value to our customers. You will work cross-functionally with beauty tech, data science, client activation, and digital teams to adopt and build innovative data products from conception to launch.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Frame Business Goals and KPIs: Establish and articulate clear business objectives and key performance indicators for the GCP customer data platform, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy and measurable value to customers and the business.
  • Define User Stories Leading to Needs and Features: Translate business goals, user needs, and stakeholder insights into detailed user stories and requirements for the customer data platform and internal data products. This includes integrating new datasets and crafting use cases to support marketing initiatives.
  • Prioritize Backlog: Manage and prioritize the product backlog for the customer data platform and internal data products, evaluating the trade-offs between effort and benefit to ensure the team focuses on high-impact features and initiatives.
  • Prototype and Write Requirements Including Data to be Sourced and Mapped: Lead the activation of the PCD core data model, working closely with data engineers and analysts to source, process, and map the necessary data. Prototype solutions and establish detailed requirements to guide the development process.
  • Follow Up and Monitor Development Sprint and Roadmap: Oversee the development sprint and roadmap for the GCP customer data platform and internal data products, ensuring development aligns with strategic goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Test/Deployment Across the Teams, Communicate and Train: Lead testing and deployment processes, ensuring quality standards are met. Educate and empower digital and marketing teams on platform functionality, implementation best practices, and data management, ensuring smooth adoption and maximized platform proficiency.
  • Measure Results and Carry Out Post Mortem Analysis: Implement testing, optimization protocols, and a dynamic segmentation and testing framework to improve revenue-related performance objectives. Measure outcomes, conduct post-mortem analyses, and leverage insights for future strategies.
  • Facilitate Cross-functional Communication: Act as a liaison between the Business division, Beauty Tech teams, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, comprehensive documentation, and execution of requirements. Foster ongoing relationships with CDP and Dataiku providers to ensure a continual exchange of knowledge and best practices.
  • Drive Customer Data Strategy and Compliance: Develop strategies for client development, customer journey segmentation, and activation. Understand and coordinate compliance with consumer privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), ensuring the platform maintains up-to-date consent and permission settings.
  • Collaborate for Data Excellence: Work closely with Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, and interdisciplinary teams to identify precise data and analytics requirements, ensuring strategic business objectives are met and insights are used for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A minimum of 5 years in roles focused on data-driven CRM, digital marketing, or CRM analytics.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Workfront.
  • Thought leader with a deep passion for technology and solution-driven creativity. Proficient in detail-oriented execution of uniquely challenging projects.
  • Experience steering projects in large matrix organizations, with a preference for those skilled in GCP Customer Data Platform.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and skill development within teams.
  • Regularly contributes knowledge and mentorship within the team and wider analytics community, including the open-source sphere.
  • Comfortable with diving into data analysis, leveraging tools, and performing basic SQL queries to understand and solve complex issues, evaluate solutions, or establish innovative KPIs.
  • Solid understanding of CDPs and related technologies like data management platforms, data lakes, and marketing automation tools.
  • Organized and collaborative, with a structured approach to handling project ambiguity and interdependencies.
  • Adopts a 'can do' attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset, suitable for a dynamic and unstructured environment.
  • Ability to work closely with business unit leaders and team members with strong empathy and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and translating data insights into business value
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities, adept at managing concurrent timelines and setting clear expectations.
  • Analytical thinker with a track record of using customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, databases, and machine learning algorithms is a plus.

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $115,000.00 - $130,000.00.
