Who you are 

Understood has prioritized making data driven decisions and building a "knowledge-base" of data. To build a solid foundation requires adding more data sources to our Snowflake data warehouse. 

Reporting into our Senior Data Engineer, this internship will give someone the opportunity to be an integral part of the data engineering team by helping them ingest these new data sources for use by our data ops, analytics, product, marketing, and advancement teams. 

This internship will be based out of our NYC office, 3 days per week, and be paid $25/hour.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Some SQL skills
• Basic python (or similar language) coding skills
• Sincere curiosity about data engineering!
