Data Analyst Internship (Brno, Czech Republic)

Red Hat's Developer Enablement team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Analyst Intern with a focus on data intelligence and AI. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data analysis techniques and a keen interest in leveraging data to extract actionable insights.

What you will do

• Data Analysis: 
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers.
• Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings effectively.
• Data Intelligence and Interpretation:
• Connect database sources to the AI Data intelligence platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
• Interpret complex data sets and communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and incorporate them into our practices.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you will bring

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Database and SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or DataBricks.
• Excel, Google Sheets (Contingent tables and functions proficiency. Macros are not required) 
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English 
• Positive attitude and willingness to share ideas openly 

• Must be currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree or in a Master's degree in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic and must be able to go to Brno office on regular basis
