This paid one-year commitment focuses on your development, providing you with hands-on experience for a career (re)start. Regardless of where you are in your journey, we are prepared to guide you and put your skills into practice. Prior work experience is not necessary, and we offer a flexible schedule that allows you to continue your studies. In addition, this programme includes various trainings, networking opportunities, and community events.

This year, we have several tracks available, including the IT & Software Engineering track, Data Science, Engineering and Risk Track, Business Analytics Track, and the Quantitative Analytics Track. Choose the track that aligns most with your career aspirations and apply.

What’s next? All candidates will receive a homework task based on the profile they are applying for. Additionally, they will be invited to complete a profile preference questionnaire. Selected candidates will attend the assessment events at the end of May, followed by final interviews with the hiring managers.

The expected starting date is between June and July 2024.

We offer a monthly salary of 1750 EUR gross with a flexible schedule, monthly meetups and community events for personal and professional development.

You will:

  • Join one of the Data Science, Engineering & Risk Track teams across Danske Bank Lithuania as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Risk Specialist
  • If you opt to join as a Data Scientist, you will learn to utilize big data for building data science products to enhance decision-making and perform in-depth analyses using SQL and Python
  • If you decide to join as a Data Engineer, you will learn to assess data quality issues, implement improvements, and introduce new features, using SQL and Python
  • If you are interested in becoming a Risk Specialist, you will learn to perform financial analysis, evaluate risks, provide insights into areas and products, refine your mathematical and data understanding, and improve your coding skills in Python/SQL
  • Collaborate with your leader, senior colleagues, and former participants to foster your development
  • In case of great performance, be offered a contract extension or a permanent position to join Danske Bank as an associate

About you:

  • You are an open-minded, curious graduate, a reskilled specialist, or a student in IT, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • Have the knowledge foundations for the chosen profile obtained in your higher education institution, coding school or individual studies
  • Scripting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving are your strengths
  • Have a B2(Upper-Intermediate) level of English for daily communication in the international teams
