An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Information Data Analyst, Senior Associate. The purpose of this role is to offer best in class data analysis to both internal and external clients in the following areas: Funds under Management Reporting; Client Asset Reporting; Compliance/Central Bank Reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly & monthly data analysis of operational activity across the Private Clients division of Davy;
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate recording of assets under management, transfer volumes, and risk and control reports ;
  • Preparation of MI reporting packs for Management review;
  • Preparation of Compliance reports for regulatory reporting;
  • Review multiple datasets and develop new reporting dashboards;
  • Develop and implement data collection techniques to optimise data quality;
  • Develop new reporting as the business requires it;
  • Deal with external & internal auditors;
  • Ensuring all queries are investigated and escalated in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Take on project work as required;
  • Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.

Requirements

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Finance Economics or a related discipline desirable;
  • Strong numerical skills - statistical qualifications preferred;
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills;
  • Previous experience of a data warehouse system is desirable;
  • A proven record as a strong team player and experience of working to tight deadlines;
  • A positive customer service orientation;
  • Strong excel skills essential;
  • Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines;
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to develop good working relationships across the business;
  • A self- motivated individual capable of taking on ad-hoc requests and working on their own initiative
  • Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
