Chubb North America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst who will play a critical role in developing and delivering data-driven, user-focused business intelligence solutions, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design principles and a consultative approach. 

This role places equal emphasis on impeccable BI & visual insights development/ delivery (technical skills) and exceptional client, project, and stakeholder management skills. The Sr. Analyst must have excellent data analysis skill and is capable of rapidly transforming analytical insights into easy to consume visual presentation for varying stakeholders.  They must also have a strong understanding of developing and working with business KPIs and data models. The candidate must demonstrate comfort with ambiguity and an ability to generate high quality products given competing priorities and present in front of user audiences.

Reporting: Role will report to the VP, Business Intelligence & Visual Insights – North America. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven visual analytics solutions to support multiple constituents, ranging from executives to underwriters.
  • Lead end-to-end development and production of KPIs, wireframes, and delivery of final dashboards in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Design visual wireframes based on business outcomes and KPIs
  • Analyze, develop, and maintain Data and Reporting Applications in collaboration with data engineers.
  • Adopt and champion standards for high-quality, easily consumable, visualizations.  Understand, develop, and adhere to data quality, data governance, and data security protocols.
  • Query Azure cloud data warehouse using SQL and Data analysis tools
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including business unit leaders, finance, IT, and data management, to understand business requirements and develop data-driven insights to support decision making
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and other visual analytics assets that provide real-time, actionable insights to business users
  • Develop and facilitate training for users in dashboard usage and adoption, data wrangling and visualization techniques.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. 
    • 3-5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and UI/UX design
    • Strong experience in asset development using analytics tools, such as Qlik and PowerBI
    • Proven experience in designing, leading, and delivering data-driven visual analytics solutions
    • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to create visually appealing dashboards, reports, and other analytics assets
    • Deep expertise in developing solutions for data warehousing, data models, and data governance.
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills, delivering complex BI products in cross-functional teams.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate and collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders.
    • Self-starter with an eye for detail, can independently set and manage competing priorities. 
  • It would be a plus if you have:
    • Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
    • 2+ years of Insurance experience or strong understanding of the Insurance Value Chain and core insurance functions
    • 2+ years in a consulting capacity delivering technological solutions to non-technical end users.
    • Experience with FIGMA and/or passion for visual design.
    • Experience with Python/R, particularly in data modeling or insights.
    • Experience with Azure SQL Server Data Warehouse.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Location:

  • Required to be in a Chubb office 3x / week.
  • We are open to you being based in either our Whitehouse Station, NJ, Jersey City, NJ, or Philadelphia, PA, office 3x weekly.

The pay range for the role is $78,000 to $125,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
