Your mission:

To support and participate in the growth of the company, we are searching for talented Data Scientists to join our fast-growing Data department (20+ people).

As a Data Scientist, you will join a team of 10+ data scientists and you will be the gatekeeper for the organization’s data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions.

Integrated to a Tech entity of more than 150 people, you’ll work in Scrum mode alongside business users, developers, QA, applied scientists and business analysts.

Your tasks will include:

• Translate business requests into data analysis
• Check, clean and prepare data to compute and interpret KPIs' variations and perform descriptive and statistical analysis,
• Analyse datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that facilitate help in decision making (help guide the strategic planning, use existing data to forecast future performance, etc.)
• Quantify uncertainty in your results and test your hypothesis
• Define, conduct and analyze randomized experiments (like A/B tests)
Apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning methodology to learn insight from the data
• Provide charts and graphics to describe the data for Business Analysts
• Build and maintain dashboards
• Document processes and make reproducible analysis so that other members of the organization understand how insights were gathered.

Depending on your profile, you’ll collaborate with different departments (Content, Sales, Creator Program, Growth, Finance) on various projects including performance analysis of our channels, content suggestion, audience analysis, performance marketing, process optimisation, etc.

• Language : Python
• Databases : Aurora, Redshift, ElasticSearch on AWS
• Librairies : Pandas, numpy, SQLAlchemy,...
• Visualisation : PowerBI, plotly
• Environment : We use Pycharm / VSCode and Jupyter but we’re open to anything!

A little about you:

• Master’s degree in science or applied mathematics with minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong skills in SQL and python for data analysis
• Solid quantitative and analytical skills and knowledgeable in statistics (AB testing, hypothesis testing, regression, ..)
• Knowledge in supervised / unsupervised machine learning
• Proficiency in data modeling and knowledgeable in database performances
• Data visualisation best practices (the right chart for the data) and proficiency in at least one tool (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, plotly, dash, ..)
• Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Fluency in English
