Responsibilities:

  • Apply existing knowledge and internal best practices to classify, build out and maintain master data and metadata across different data domains like account, contact and product.
  • Evaluate Coupa’s account and contact datasets for consistency, completeness, and accuracy. Identify and resolve data quality gaps and track data quality improvements over time
  • Swiftly respond to tickets or queries related to account data changes, work with users to resolve data quality concerns and advocate for adherence to governance policies and best practices
  • Interact with internal customers/stakeholders and cross functional teams to understand requirements around data projects and execute them in an efficient and timely manner
  • Audit data on a regular basis and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and document process improvements for data management activities.
  • Research multiple internal and external data sources to ensure the highest level of data accuracy
  • Process bulk data changes on a regular cadence, track data exceptions and suggest process improvements
  • Serve as a point of contact for regional sales teams and drive data projects aligned to the key objectives and guidelines of those regions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with employees based in the US and globally
  • Working experience of minimum 5 years as a Data Admin/Data Steward
  • Previous experience in a Sales Operations, Business Data Management or Data Quality domain
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel and VBA
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Prior experience working with data providers like Dun & Bradstreet, ZoomInfo etc.
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other CRM applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of BI tools like Amazon S3, Tableau is a plus
  • Understanding of industry trends, technology, and products in the areas of data quality and master data management is a plus
  • Soft Skills:
  • Methodical – orderly or systematic in thought and behavior
  • Investigative – ability to quickly and accurately research unknown accounts, using context clues and information available online to identify accurate account details
  • Analytical – ability to analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Perpetual – capability to work on a repetitive task for a long period of time without compromising quality of work
