We are looking for an exceptional Analytics Engineer to join our team! You will be responsible for elevating our data warehouse and business intelligence capabilities whilst going deep into complex data modelling projects. You will join a growing central Data team, working with teams across the company, with the goal of enabling better data-driven decisions and efficiency gains. Our team contains specialists in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science.

You will...

  • Develop and maintain data models using dbt and SQL that are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
  • Encourage self-service analytics and consistent, high-quality metrics by building and maintaining Looker explores and key dashboards. 
  • Implement data quality monitoring and data validation throughout the data models you build to ensure high reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to meet them.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation, manage change and technical debt, and ensure that our stack can scale.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Data team to continuously improve our stack and drive innovation.


You have...

  • Advanced SQL and (optionally) experience with Python.
  • Experience building scalable, high-quality data models that serve complex business use cases.
  • Knowledge of dbt and experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse etc).
  • Proficiency in building BI dashboards and self-service capabilities using tools like Tableau and Looker.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in managing stakeholder expectations across multiple verticals in the business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other data professionals, engineers, and business stakeholders.
