We are looking for intellectually curious engineers to help build our AMLA tool. AMLA quantifies the risk of potential money laundering through a “follow the money” approach. Its cutting-edge models identify the key red flags of money laundering, such as uneconomic trading and sudden changes in behaviour. Using a proprietary algorithm, AMLA also reveals hidden connections between our clients to uncover suspicious networks.

Experience writing C# is desirable, though demonstrable project experience using any object-oriented programming language would be useful as a platform for success in this role.

This work would appeal to graduates with a broad knowledge of computing who like to continually learn new things and do not mind dealing with rapidly changing priorities and projects.

This is an opportunity to join and learn from a team of enthusiastic – like minded engineers to work on exciting projects with a real-world impact. You would have the support of more senior engineers, with a mix of experience, and a mixture of training resources available, whilst also offering a "learn by doing" opportunity, getting you to work on real-life projects that will help you upskill quickly.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with C#, Python or any object-oriented programming language
  • STEM degree OR relevant industry experience within a programming position
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, often utilising proprietary methods
  • Comfortable working in a team
  • Excellent communication skills with a self-starting attitude
  • Having an interest in financial markets is desirable (though previous industry experience is not essential).
