About Current Health

Current Health is a leader in the movement to transition more healthcare into the home. We’re a technology company, but beyond our best in class hardware and software capabilities, we help healthcare organizations operationalize care at home and deliver excellent patient experiences through helping with the last mile of care logistics and services. We partner with leading healthcare organizations to advance home-based care in the US, the UK, and around the world.

More than doubling in size in the last year, we’re building a global team united in one purpose: helping people live healthier, longer lives by predicting disease and enabling earlier treatment. At Current Health, we seek to put patients first, solve problems with curiosity and creativity, pursue uncommon collaboration, and never stop growing. We’re a remote-first company, which means that everything from how we work, communicate, and socialize is shaped by tools and culture that prioritize collaboration and support independence.

About the role:

We are looking for a Principal Data Architect to lead designing, implementing and providing technical direction to teams building highly scalable and performant data platforms critical to Current Health’s product vision.

We are committed to providing excellent healthcare services at home which requires the ability to reliably monitor, accurately analyse and ensure the delivery of alerts to healthcare organisations we work with. In order to meet these expectations we need an expert who can design and implement scalable, resilient and secure data architecture solutions to tackle critical patient safety risks.

As a Principal Engineer at Current Health, we expect you to be working closely with a range of other software and data science teams to enable them to store and use data for analysis, machine learning and other use cases.

The Team:

You'll be a critical addition to a fast growing engineering team with responsibilities across our data infrastructure, platform operations, and InfoSec teams.

You will be part of our Data Engineering team which powers all things related to data at Current Health. Right from providing real-time insight into patient health from our monitoring IoT devices to generating intelligent personalized alarms to help scale and enable healthcare organisations to be more effective, data is at the heart of all our services at Current Health. You will be partnering with our InfoSec, QA/RA and other software engineering squads to store, secure and deliver information collected by Current Health and it’s partners securely and reliably to our customers and patients.

As our team grows we are looking for engineers with strong expertise and breadth of experience to help raise our capabilities as a team, and in the wider engineering organisation.
