The Data Analytics and Reporting Intern will be responsible for understanding our data and data structures, cleaning up data, and identifying improvements and optimizations that will impact reporting and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Document database design/architecture
• Identify where malformed data is being created and collaborate team on tasks
• Write scripts to clean data for better analytics, reporting, and site stability
• Apply knowledge of relational database skills including advanced SQL knowledge and the ability to create complex queries and stored procedures
• Collaborate with the Architecture team in the design and execution of solutions
• Use data engineering techniques to design and build solutions/products for analyzing data sets and identifying patterns and relationships
• Work with customer success/support teams and with data science teams to develop data expertise and resolve issues relating to data quality
• Identify areas of improvement and optimize data storage, processing, and utilization of cloud resources
• Develop and promote best practices in data engineering
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong problem solving skills, ability to brainstorm different resolution paths using sound judgment

• A high level of written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to think creatively
• Experience managing multiple tasks
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
