The Nielsen Marketing Effectiveness (MEFF) team plays a pivotal role in helping clients ensure every $ they spend works for them and gives higher returns. We do this by providing a mix of data-led models, software solutions and consultancy to ensure clients get the results they need. We answer their key business questions to improve marketing performance, questions like What ROI does my marketing generate? How can I improve my marketing? How should I optimize my marketing investment?

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand clients’ business questions and objectives as well as the business context in which those clients operate 
  • Request data from external and internal stakeholders, confirm data definitions, and resolve questions about data with clients and their media agencies.
  • Translate technical concepts into client language
  • Lead internal and external meetings, and engage client stakeholders and leadership team
  • Guide and support the team for data collection, processing, and quality checking
  • Generate data-related hypotheses and insights
  • Help to manage project timelines, and plan team project assignments
  • Ensure effective and timely delivery of project work.
  • Build and maintain effective contacts with other departments to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources
  • Take accountability for obtaining complete data on time, for processing data accurately, and for meeting delivery deadlines

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • An in-depth understanding of the marketing effectiveness measurement space
  • Experience in managing cross regions projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other related disciplines. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of modelling is a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in at least one statistics language like Power BI, SAS, R, Python
  • Good oral and written communication skills and fluent in English as well as Korean
  • Solid proficiency of decision making and problem resolution skills
  • Passion for results with a challenger mind-set
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Team player with good people management skill
