How you will helpYou will take ownership of HealthVerity’s day to day Data Operations tasks. This includes ensuring that the data operations team has production feeds timely, accurate, and complete in preparation for outgoing delivery to customers.  You will also facilitate the Data QA and Analytics team as they profile and evaluate data for integration with our warehouse. On a personal level, communication and leadership skills are paramount .When challenges arise,   you will organize internal and external communications to ensure data stakeholders are updated and that the responsible party is taking steps to resolve the issue. 
What you will do...• Perform management responsibilities for the Data Operations team, including managerial support, regular one on ones, and yearly performance reviews• Provide escalated support for high profile issues• Present to executive management on team initiatives, progress, and pain points• Work with cross functional peers to ensure department and stakeholder expectations are met • Ensure supplementary reference data is updated and timely
You are … • A data geek with a passionate sense of ownership  • A self-starter who enjoys working in a growing, rapidly changing, fast paced environment• Confident enough to course correct a process or team when required• Methodical, executing through several approaches to determine the best fit• Energized by learning, even if outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities• Comfortable working on several different tasks throughout your workday• Capable of fostering and promoting a culture of employee development and learning, while also achieving critical business tasks
Desired skills and experience• 4+ years’ experience in the data industry, preferably in a big data environments• 2+ years of team management experience• Proficient in programming against large data assets with a working knowledge of SQL, preferably also knowledgeable in python• Ability to gather requirements, test strategies, design deliverables• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities• Skilled teaching and instruction capability• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
