PROCEPT BioRobotics is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s AquaBeam® Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy, is the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size or surgeon experience. 
SUMMARYWe are seeking a dynamic individual responsible for developing and maintaining our company's data, business intelligence, and analytics platform. Your responsibilities will include driving initiatives to design and construct an enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics platform, encompassing reporting tools, information dashboards, and user-centric information portals. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be required as assigned)

  • Develops a robust set of Business Intelligence and Analytics applications that enable fast and accurate decision-making;
  • Coordinates requirements gathering meetings with business users of the company.
  • Proactively communicates and collaborates with these users to analyze information needs and functional requirements;
  • Translates business requirements into functional specifications for the BI and Analytic system. 
  • Drives the design and deployment of data extraction, transform and load (ETL) packages, SQL queries, dashboards, and analytic reports;
  • Designs and develops software processes to extract and blend data received from various internal and external sources, into relevant business reports;
  • Technical lead for projects representing the business intelligence reporting environment; 
  • Champions data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the enterprise BI and Analytic ecosystem; 
  • Provides ongoing analytical support to executives, senior management and business users of the company;
  • Provides functional training and development of training guides to end users;
  • Handles a wide range of IT responsibilities, such as but not limited to user support functions, as requested.
  • Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
  • Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics’ Quality & EHS policies

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree, computer science and 2+ years of relevant IT and/or business experience working in the medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare industry, or related consulting services;
  • Knowledge and experience with BI visualization tools (eg Tableau or Power BI);
  • Knowledge and experience with ETL tools (eg Knime, Alteryx, or SSIS);
  • Knowledge and experience with Web Request tools (eg Postman);
  • Experience in data reporting and analysis using multiple reporting tools, data sets and proficiency with SQL
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and quantitative skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel internally and externally;
  • Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, manage customer expectations and execute timely deliverables with attention to detail;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong client management skills;
  • Ability to anticipate needs, make recommendations and respond to ad hoc requests quickly and appropriately;
  • Successful experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment;

For US Based Candidates OnlyFor this role, the anticipated base pay range is $92,000-$128,000 a year.
PROCEPT BioRobotics is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we aim to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. While our ranges are posted, the exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, location or comparison to other employees already in similar roles. In addition to base salary, our positions are eligible for variable compensation through one of our incentive plans as well as equity compensation based on role and level. PROCEPT also offers a comprehensive suite of benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance plans, ESPP, 401k retirement savings plan with a company match, and paid time off programs. All compensation and benefits programs are subject to the discretion of the company.
