About this role:

As a Data Scientist on CyberArk’s Business Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business through a variety of diverse machine learning projects. The ideal person is a driven, passionate problem solver who possesses both business intuition and a strong understanding of data technologies and machine-learning techniques. You will report to the Senior Director of Business Analytics and work closely with functional leaders, analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and end users. This role is crucial in transforming data into actionable insights and strategies that drive our customers and business forward.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a product-led-growth data science framework to support strategic business decisions.
  • Utilize machine learning, statistical analysis, LLMs, and other data science techniques to analyze in-product telemetry and various types of data.
  • Identify patterns and insights within complex datasets to uncover and prioritize product-qualified leads.
  • Develop models to predict and recommend the next best action for users trialing our solutions.
  • Build data products that support a broad range of business use cases, enabling hundreds of non-technical end-users to make faster and smarter decisions through data science.
  • Collaborate and form close relationships with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, IT, and customer success to implement data-driven strategies.
  • Develop statistical and machine-learning solutions end-to-end, supporting the full lifecycle of developing, evaluating, deploying, and maintaining models.
  • Communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Acquire extensive domain expertise across various business functions and CyberArk products.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI to continuously improve our processes and offerings.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer science or quantitative field
  • 3+ years of graduate research, industry, or internship experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, SciKit-Learn, NumPy)
  • Experience working with Spark or other distributed computing environments
  • Proficiency in SQL: writing complex queries, transforming data, and mining structured and unstructured data
  • Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and diverse points of view to determine a path forward
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to structure and execute complex analyses and tell a story with data
  • Smart, bold but humble attitude to work collaboratively with CyberArk colleagues

The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $165,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
