The Data & Insights team turns hundreds of millions of rows of data into valuable insights available at our clients' fingertips. These insights in turn drive decisions and actions that have a huge impact on our clients. Our recently launched fundraising insights not only saved clients hours of work but also helped increase their donations raised. And we’re barely scratching the surface.
We analyze the data we collect and develop insights that can truly move the needle for our clients and fans. The insights we deliver are relied upon to make critical decisions that have a significant revenue impact. Reliability and accuracy are therefore paramount for our product to be trustworthy. You’ll get to own the end-to-end development and operation of our data platform.
What you’ll do
- Design a go-to-market strategy to provide business intelligence as a service at scale.
- Develop an end-to-end data solution for clients that encompasses data engineering, analytics, and data science.
- Own the onboarding and long-term relationships with participating clients.
- Create a suite of dynamic dashboards to that provide valuable insights and measurable value from Fundraising, Ticketing, Marketing and other rich data sources.
- Craft a data management strategy to verify the accuracy of data being visualized, and assist in root cause analysis to trace the source of any data issues.
- Engineer Data pipelines, Data Structures, and any other technical needs to provide a comprehensive data solution.
- Contribute ideas on how best to design new analysis and convey ideas across clients.
- Support internal teams in their goals to better understand cross-client data.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, customer success, and other data engineers to come up with solutions that meet the desired outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Experience shipping business intelligence and data analytics insights at scale.
- Experience with industry leading data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Experience with SQL and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, AWS).
- Experience with a programming language like Python, R to create predictive and categorical data models.
- A desire to build content that is impactful and insightful.
- The drive to ask “why” and find out the story behind the data and be able to tell that story.
- The courage to live in the future, dream big, and learn from experimentation.
- A willingness to seek and give feedback and grow beyond your comfort zone.
An Extra “Awesome”
- Strong understanding and experience in the live entertainment industry, especially in college athletics and fundraising.
- Engineering ability to work with data from source to destination and ultimate access (visualization or export) in a cloud-based environment.
- Knowledge/experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data lakes and warehouses.
- Knowledge/experience with ETL tools.
The approximate base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
