At Upgrade, the Platform team works horizontally with our different engineering teams. We build tools, services and shared libraries to simplify / abstract / speedup the day to day of our developers. 
Part of the Platform group, the ML team is responsible for our ML initiatives, training and inference services. We work with our decision science team to build and ship models used in our different products.
We are looking for a passionate Machine Learning engineer to help us drive the ML roadmap at Upgrade. Join us!

What You'll Do:

  • Implement new ML training and inference services.
  • Help build and drive the roadmap for the ML team.
  • Augment our model monitoring capabilities.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Machine learning

What We Look For: (Please apply if you only have a few in there!)

  • Python Programming.
  • You worked on ML teams before.
  • You built pipelines on a cloud provider solution (Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine learning, Google AutoML, etc.).
  • Experience with ML Libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with CI-CD Pipelines.
  • Good observability knowledge.
  • Kubernetes (nice to have).
  • Good communication & empathy skills. You will interact with different stakeholders at Upgrade to help define our vision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
