Senior Data Quality Engineer

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive testing system that ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data. You will define testing standards and processes, and play a pivotal role in training and mentoring team members on best practices in data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build an end-to-end testing system for data validation and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain testing standards and procedures to ensure data integrity across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data usage and implications for data quality.
• Implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems to proactively identify issues.
• Lead the creation of a data quality dashboard to communicate data quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Train and mentor team members on data quality concepts, tools, and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data quality and testing methodologies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data quality and testing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data quality engineering, data management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Experience with data quality tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages (Python, R, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
