FWD Group Office Summer Internship Programme

What you will do:

• Undergo a 11 week summer programme designed to provide you with an exciting, fun and supportive learning experience and responsibilities which mirror work life at FWD.
• Develop a good foundation on FWD products and services. You will collaborate across different business functions to execute your assigned tasks and projects.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and solutions to perform tasks and improve existing processes.
• Get an opportunity to be assessed and fast track transition to FWD Digital Graduate Programme, an 18-month program with three 6-month rotational experiences across a range of departments.

What you’ll need:

• Preferably 3rd year or final year students, and must be available for a full-time internship from May to July 2024
• Passion for digital initiatives and process enhancement through technology enablement
• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment
• A high personal drive to achieve results, proactive, and good at execution of assigned tasks
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
• Fluency in both written and verbal communication
• Ability to quickly solve problems on your own or with a team
• Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing

Group Digital and Data (Group Data Science)

• Work on the initiatives in AI operation, including AI claim and AI Underwriting.
• Use case testing and programming, and assist in project management and documentation.
• Provide support to the team on the AI capabilities area and the intern will be a valuable asset in testing the new use cases, providing programming support, and ensuring efficient project documentation.

Group Digital Commerce

• Market research on omni-channel trends, leads nurturing tools and best practice processes in both insurance and other e-commerce businesses
• Support on BAU work such as reporting and liaison with local business
• Conduct market/competitor analysis
• Assist in data compiling, presentation and other deliverables

Summer internship at FWD Group Office Singapore runs from May 13 to July 26, 2024.

What to expect during the interview process:

• Once you have submitted your online application, we will review and connect with you if you are shortlisted for interview.
• You’ll demonstrate your interests, abilities and personality by completing a one-way video interview. Please be in the look-out for an automated email with a link to a video interview.
• If selected to move forward, you’ll proceed with a business unit interview either conducted through in-person or video conference.
• Successful candidates will be offered an internship role.
