Your role at Sephora:

As Senior Engineer, Business Intelligence at Sephora, you will: Support the data integration work within the Data Platform team including developing data models, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts. Work with members of the product engineering team, data architects, and business analysts to define requirements, mine and analyze data, integrate data, and deploy high quality data pipelines. Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets with structured and timely access to actionable business insights. Oversee an automated reporting systems including Tableau/Looker/Cognos and manage other Enterprise Data Warehouse proprietary systems. [Position allows some work-from-home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.]

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Data Engineer or a related occupation
• Two (2) years of experience as a Data Engineer or a related occupation

Experience must include:

• Large scale data warehouse projects
• Programming languages including Scala, MySQL, and Python
• Big data environments including ETL, Apache, Hadoop, and ApacheSpark
• Software including Git, Tableau, and Cube
• Integrated development software including PyCharm, VScode, and Jupyter
• Agile tools including Jira and Confluence.

Rate of Pay:  $136,100 to $182,800
