Data Science - Intern

OpenX is looking for a Data Science intern to join our Data Science Org. Our exchange processes hundreds of billions of ad requests daily, resulting in petabytes of new data daily. We're looking for an intern who is going to assist our team who is using analytics and A/B testing to dig through the noise to identify and implement optimisations that increase yield for our publishers and efficiency for our buyers. 
So who exactly are we looking for? A passionate individual who’s curious about and would like to learn how our entire ecosystem works. Someone with a passion for data science and a willingness to apply that knowledge to various teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders across tech, product, and business to deliver actionable insights and aid in decision-making
• Perform ad hoc investigations to understand changing trends in the business
• Define and evaluate metrics 
• Build and maintain dashboards 
• Design and execute experiments

Required Qualifications:

• Working towards BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or related.
• Proficiency in SQL
• Programming experience in Python
• Solid grasp of probability and statistics
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform
• Detail oriented approach
• Being curious
• Experience with working in big data (massive datasets)

Our offering:

• Internship Duration: July 1st - September 30th - we are flexible depending on our mutual arrangements
• You will be part of a global engineering team and you will be working with the assigned engineers on different projects
• You will work with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloudbuild
• This is a paid internship 32.50 PLN per hour (up to 5,500 PLN / month for full-time availability)
