We're a dynamic social media analytics team, helping brands thrive in the evolving social landscape. As a Social Media Data Manager, your role is pivotal in analyzing performance and identifying opportunities for success.

About the Role

As the Social Media Data Manager, you’ll be the champion of people, projects, and resources within the Google.Monks team. You’ll build a high-performing unit while collaborating closely with Google clients to extract actionable insights from complex data sets and your expertise will be crucial in driving insights and elevating our performance analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
    • Prioritize project workload and resource allocation to ensure efficient team operations.
    • Motivate and empower your team to deliver exceptional results for Google clients.

  • Client-facing Collaboration:
    • Partner with Google clients to understand their business objectives and data needs.
    • Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
    • Present findings effectively to diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.

  • Data Expertise:
    • Design and implement comprehensive data analysis methodologies for internal projects.
    • Develop and own dashboards and reports that track OKRs and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest data analytics tools and trends, including Python, SQL, and Google Looker Studio.

  • Project Management:
    • Define internal project scopes, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Manage project risks and proactively communicate any potential roadblocks.
    • Ensure data quality and adherence to Google’s data governance standards.

About You

The essentials:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or insights role within a digital agency environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively tell data stories to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Python, SQL, and Google Data Studio.
  • Experience working with complex data sets and extracting actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with Google clients or projects is a strong plus.

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

 

Salary Range$90,000—$100,000 USD
