Our client, a leader in the digital marketing sector, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their innovative team in. This role is at the heart of a pioneering approach that integrates big data with advanced machine learning, analyzing content from hundreds of millions of documents daily. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with data on an unprecedented scale, crafting scalable solutions that drive the company's dynamic data strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain large-scale Python data pipelines.

  • Analyze complex datasets using SQL, turning data into actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Commercial teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

  • Implement software development best practices in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Share expertise and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

What You Have:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, and Dataflow.

  • Passion for handling large datasets (e.g., BigQuery, Apache Druid, Elasticsearch).

  • Familiarity with Terraform, DBT, and Looker is a plus.

  • A proactive approach to performance optimization and cost reduction.

  • A commercial mindset with a focus on developing exceptional products.
