Cost and Local Revenue Data Analytics Specialist

Position Summary: Gather, clean, understand, and organize databases and perform analysis to produce reporting related to OPEX and local revenue efficiency.
This position will: Develop cost studies based on historical data and create forecasting models of OPEX and local revenue. These studies include Excel spreadsheets, access reports, and Qlik Sense dashboards. Generate periodical reports and update automated reporting to be available to Cost Control, other teams, and top management. Present insights and recommendations to top management based on in-depth operational and financial analysis. Implement and promote improvements of current reports developing analytics and data visualization tools and suggest alternative sources of information. Record, monitor, and validate estimations and monthly achievements of OPEX reduction initiatives and additional local revenue. *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the CMA CGM (America) LLC office in Norfolk, VA, 40% of the time.
Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field with two (2) years in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Microsoft Office Products; ERP Software including Qliksense, PowerBI, or Tableau; analytical skills including Regression, Correlation, and Statistical Predictive Analysis; Data management and managing large datasets; reading and interpreting contractual agreements and financial forecasting.
