Data Science Intern

Job Description

These professionals drive innovation, and new product ideation, develop complex analyses, and deliver data insights to measure what consumers buy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Science team in day-to-day tasks such as data cleaning, data validation, data extraction, and assist in basic analysis for data query resolution.
• Assist and work together with associates on creating new solutions, use cases, proof of concept, and prototypes by exploring diverse data sets using tools such as Python.
• Support associate to automate and develop solutions for existing processes, propose new data visualization/update the existing dashboard.
• Maintain positive working relationships and open communication across relevant teams to ensure delivery to client expectations and satisfaction.
• Ensure that the company’s regional and global standards are always adhered to at all times.
• To support any team projects / other duties as and when deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (either Bachelor/Master) in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computing, Engineering, or related fields
• Beginner/Intermediate levels proficiency with Python and Power BI
• Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin is an added advantage
• Good collaborative and interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
• Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
