We are looking for Geographic Information System (GIS) software developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.

Use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You will apply analytical skills and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into tangible answers to help clients make informed decisions. Be prepared to help turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with developing geospatial information system (GIS) applications to perform and visualize geospatial analysis

• 3+ years of experience with Graph Database Analytics

• Experience working with graph databases, such as Neo4J

• Experience developing with ESRI Enterprise software applications, including ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal

• Experience with handling and conversion of multiple spatial and non-spatial data sources

• Experience with using common data analytics and programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL

• Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Geoprocessing using various forms of Python Library Arcpy and Python Web

• Experience with Agile development

• Experience with source code management tools, including GitLab, GitHub, or BitBucket

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Experience with Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
