Assess new product and procedure development, patient selection criteria development, patient screening, and early clinical imaging training/case support for both novel and iterative devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases.• Interact with KOL and proctors
  • Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations
  • Collaborate and provide recommendations to commercial, NPD team and HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocol
  • Provide input to training content relevant to image analysis for HCPs• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs.
  • Train field support team and/or HCPs on patient screening procedures Manage the full screening process by updating the information in the patient shared databases (Salesforce and SharePoint), assign the tasks to the appropriate internal and external contributor, monitor the advancement and request updates

  • Lead one or two imaging modalities for one or two therapies screening review calls with Field Clinical Specialist and circulate appropriate screening evaluation documentation.
  • Lead training delivery to HCP and Field Clinical Specialist about Patient Screening on one imaging modality• Learns the product(s), physiology, anatomy, applications and “language” of the market and Edwards Lifesciences



Education and Experience:
Other: 5 years of experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in in related field Training experience in clinical / technical environment Preferred

Additional Skills:

  • Full knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
  • Substantial knowledge of one or more relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g. 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.) and screening methodology of one or more therapy• Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
  • • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • • Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science
  • • Full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
  • • Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting
  • • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • • Strict attention to detail
  • • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
  • • Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

The base pay range for this position is $83,000 - $112,000.

 

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., geographic location, qualifications, education, prior experience).
