DTD SAP Analytics Engineer

Summary of Position:

Alcon is looking to hire an ideal candidate to manage the design and operation of global Business Intelligence solutions in alignment with the ERP design and architectural standards, while meeting quality, performance, and security/business requirements.

DTD SAP Analytics Engineer will provide technical expertise in SAP Analytics and contribute to develop new solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

• Contribute to the design, development, delivery and maintenance of SAP Analytics solutions
• Contribute to various BI platform improvement, stabilization, housekeeping initiatives
• Design & develop data models in Native HANA, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Liaise with other IT technical/functional/business teams

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

• 4+ years in business consultancy and SAP Analytics in an international environment 
• Hands-on experience in SAP Analytics application development including report development Native HANA, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Knowledge of Analytical tools (Analysis for Office, Tableau, Business Objects Suite, SAP Data Services, BPC)
• Knowledge of ABAP, CDS, SQL
• Knowledge of SAP functional modules (SD, MM, PP, QM, FI)
• Proven experience in SAP implementations, detailed process analysis and design, system architecture, technology standards, CSV, GXP and SOX requirements 
• Proven track record of broad industry experience and excellent understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships
• Good knowledge of ERP project methodology and compliance requirements in the Medical Devices industry and data in the area of responsibility
• Experience in working in international environment with global cross-cultural teams

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor degree in business/technical (or adequate equivalent) and SAP knowledge in specified module(s)/process areas 
• 4-6 years of applicable experience
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Work Timings:

• General Shift: 11AM TO 8PM IST
• Location :Bangalore
