We are currently looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to join our Mountain View office. We are looking for a team player with strong ownership of the entire recruiting process and to take charge in scaling our Didi autonomous driving teams. This person will partner with our HR Head, hiring managers, and occasionally HQ (in Beijing) recruiting team in identifying and engaging with top technical talent. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Heavy focus on ensuring that the US recruitment team is providing a fantastic experience to all candidates who engage with us.
  • Build, manage and develop a team of high-performers in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Partner with business leaders up to the executive level to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics.
  • Leverage data analytics to drive operational improvements and amplify operational excellence to support team's growth.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to be able to reinforce the company culture with leaders and employees and to assess cultural attributes in candidates.
  • Monitor and ensure 100% compliance of hiring process activities.
  • Work on a variety of recruitment & people related projects including; streamlining of the recruitment process, onboarding, interviewer training, creation of interview feedback forms, and more.
  • Be educated and knowledgeable in recruiting trends of the future workplace to ensure we are keeping pace with technology and evolving our tools and processes.

 

 Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Ability to lead by example with professionalism, focus, and urgency in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, fairness, and consistency in decision-making.
  • Strong coaching, management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence.
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues.
  • Knowledge and application of domestic employment laws and practices.
  • Knowledge of the autonomous driving industry and relevant talent markets is highly desirable.

We’re developing and testing self-driving vehicles in China and the United States.

In August 2019, DiDi upgraded its autonomous driving unit to an independent company to focus on R&D, product application, and business development related to self-driving technologies. The new company will integrate the resources and technology of DiDi’s platform, continue to increase investment in R&D, and deepen collaboration with auto industry partners.
