Role Overview:
As a Senior ADAS Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and testing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) systems. Your responsibilities will include writing test suites, conducting manual and automated testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and productivity. Additionally, you will integrate testing processes with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) flows and have the opportunity to leverage your experience with Data Loggers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Write comprehensive test suites for ADAS/AD systems, ensuring thorough testing of features both in vehicle and on bench setups.
• Conduct manual black box testing and automation testing to validate system functionalities and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to define software metrics for assessing quality and productivity.
• Integrate testing procedures seamlessly with CI/CD flows to facilitate efficient development processes.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer, demonstrating a profound understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in software design and development using C, C++, Python, GO, and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker for system builds or testing.
• Experience working with Embedded Systems and Cloud Development.
• Hands-on experience in writing testing infrastructure or scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in utilizing Atlassian Suite and Git for project management and version control.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage tasks independently.

Nice to Have:
• Previous experience with ADAS/AD systems.
• Automotive background with exposure to industry-specific challenges and requirements

  Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.   Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
