As the Lead Engineer, Business Intelligence, you will deliver business intelligence and data analytics solutions involving statistical modeling or machine learning, the use of associated R/Python libraries and tooling, emphasizing effective design and usability for end users.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver business intelligence and data analytics solutions involving statistical modeling or machine learning, the use of associated R/Python libraries and tooling, emphasizing effective design and usability for end users
• Utilize Azure Cloud Services (PaaS & IaaS), Storage, Web Apps, Active Directory, Application Insights, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Service Bus, Traffic Manager, Azure Monitoring, OMS, Key Vault, Visual Studio Online (VSO), Cognitive Services (LUIS) and SQL Azure
• Utilize Oracle ERP AP, AR, GL modules and Salesforce CRM Framework, visual reporting tools Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
• Apply knowledge of machine learning, k-nearest neighbors, random forests, ensemble methods and corresponding implementation packages in R & Python
• Understand differences between various database architectures, such as SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle, Postgres, Teradata, DB2, SQL and/or MS Access
• Deliver complex data warehouse solutions using Microsoft stack including SQL, SSIS, SSAS and Azure cloud
• Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Charlotte, NC

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Four (4) years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following:
  • Reporting systems; designing and implementing reporting solutions
  • Machine Learning / AI Skills R & Python programming
  • Oracle ERP (AR, AP & GL modules) Finance Modules/ CRM Salesforce
  • Database Development & BI Tools: Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SQL / SSAS / PowerBI / SSIS)            
  • Cloud Technologies: Azure Cloud
  • Frameworks Technologies: .NET Framework /Java script
  • SDK: MS DSTS (Datacenter Security Token Service), Azure SDK 2015
  • Source code repository tools Visual Studio & GitHub
