We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Insights Analyst / Analytics Engineer to support the Data & Analytics team in developing analytics products for various business needs and delivering data-driven insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysing key metrics and delivering insights to the stakeholders
  • Creating, refactoring, and maintaining data models in dbt
  • Collecting the requirements for, developing and maintaining dashboards in Looker
  • Creating and maintaining data documentation including Looker dashboard descriptions, data dictionaries and process flows
  • Completing ad-hoc data requests from different business units

Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Advanced knowledge of BigQuery or other SQL dialects
  • Advanced knowledge of Looker (including LookML) or other data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Understanding of query performance and database architecture
  • Experience in building models and writing tests in dbt, including Jinja
  • Understanding of various data modelling approaches (Snowflake, Star), ETL and ELT processes
  • Experience in analysing data using Python and Hex is a plus
  • Experience in using Fivetran is a plus
