What you`ll do: 
We are looking for an AI Developer to help us develop the most innovative products in the area of Artificial Intelligence in the domain of process management and process mining. As an AI Developer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of modules or features of a product. Works according to specifications and project plans.
All AI services we develop will support the entire Signavio product suite and collaborating with members of several teams across the organization will be part of your daily work. Core tasks include: 

• Provides application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans
• Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation
• Implementation activities include implementation, testing and integration
• Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal
• Usually extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-)systems

Accountability

• Responsible for delivery of outcomes of complex and innovative functional issues integrating client needs, strategic business goal of the function and financial objectives
• Internally recognized senior on complex technical and business matters
• Work on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results / technical solutions
• Collaborate in devising long-term concepts
• May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities

• Shares in-depth knowledge and experience with direct team to enable decision-making and provide innovative solutions to complex business issues
• Works on complex technical projects or business issues requiring strong technical knowledge
• Contribute independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects)
• Work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility
• Provide regular project status and updates
• Enhance complex systems & processes

• Building our AI services we integrate the most modern and cutting edge LLM engines in the market to make recommendations on which action to take to improve live processes. Our future AI services will go far beyond LLM and cover the whole spectrum of novel AI technologies including development/training generic business-adaptive Foundation models and finetuning of LLMs for a particular business need. Preferred qualifications and skills:
 
·    Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a comparable field
·    4+ years experience of AI Engineering, Data Science or similar roles
·    Full stack development experience
·    Strong Business Process Management, Process Mining and Process Modelling Background
·    Proficiency preferred in Process Predictions, Process Simulation, Root Cause Analysis and application of Large Language Models in Business Process Management and Content Extraction via LLMs
·    Top-tier academic results and publications are a plus (e.g., graduation with distinction; conference publications)
·    Being an expert on software engineering, test driven development, backend and frontend systems
·    Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
·    Proficiency in AI and natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including machine/deep learning, neural networks, Large Language and Generative AI Models
·    Solid understanding of LLM prompt- and retrieval-augmented generation techniques, algorithms and approaches
·    Very good Python, Javascript, Java and SAP BTP Programming skills; Familiarity with SAP technologies
·    Experienced in test driven development
·    Expert in cloud app / service development
·    Fluent in spoken & written English
·    True team player with the ability to present, convince, influence & lead
·    Enthusiastic, proactive, likes to take initiative & work in a challenging environment
