Contract - Business Intelligence Developer

YPrime’s Innovation & IT team is searching for a Business Intelligence Developer This is a CONTRACT position, in which you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable BI solutions using Sigma.

Does our mission sound like something you can get behind?  If so, here’s what we need from you: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or an equivalent amount of related professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in BI development, with specific expertise in Sigma
• Strong experience creating embedded analytics solutions using Sigma Computing
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD processes for BI projects
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical action
• Experience leading major projects in collaboration with Product and Project teams
• Experience interacting with legacy systems and integrating them with modern technologies

Here are some more details about the job: 

• You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable BI solutions using Sigma
• You’ll create visually appeasing and performant dashboards for both internal and external teams
• You’ll create embedded analytics programs using Sigma Computing, allowing for seamless integration of BI tools and dashboards into internal or customer-facing applications
• You’ll implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for BI projects, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and version control
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and analysts, to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide insights through data analytics
• You’ll ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of BI solutions, adhering to best practices and organizataional standards
• You’ll stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in BI, Sigma Computing, DBT, and Snowflake to continually improve our BI capabilities
• You’ll train/mentor our internal Power BI Developers and Analysts on converting their skillsets to Sigma

• Previous experience working in an FDA regulated industry
• Experience with DBT, SNOWFLAKE, or related technologies
