Job Title

work with stakeholders to translate business requirements and problems into analytical solutions;

build and maintain visually appealing and engaging dashboards for external customers and internal stakeholders;

design complex data models to implement valuable metrics and better address customer needs;

master our datasets and craft and execute queries upon request for data;

Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data assets.  

work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to help define the data standards and requirements helping to ensure our systems are running correctly and efficiently;

Design and maintain quality indicators as well as the corresponding monitoring and alerting means.  

 Troubleshoot and document issues respecting Amadeus standards.   

provide internal trainings and proper documentation ensuring the successful onboarding of new team members and stakeholders;

extend data literacy and curiosity throughout the whole company.

About the ideal candidate:

Qualifications: 

Education: Degree in any of the following: information systems, economics, statistics, computer science, business administration or natural sciences, 

You have in-depth understanding of IT systems, Data Warehousing, and ETL pipelines. 

. cloud computing environment experiences (e.g. GCP, AWS).

. experience working in data engineering domain.    

. Must be able to write complex SQL queries, SQL test cases and script's.

. Experience with data modeling and data visualization concepts and tools.    

. Must have experience working with BI platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.) as a developer of dashboards/reporting solutions.

. experience defining ETL processes, designing and maintaining applications using Scala, (Py)Spark, 
knowledge of build tools eg Maven and SBT, and experience with DevOps pipelines will be a plus.   

. Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure, Databricks. 

. You will explain and present (written and verbal) analysis to business stakeholders in a clear and simple way.
