We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join our team in London. 
This role is designed for a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of data and a passion for ad tech & performance marketing. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit,  an interest in trading, and experience with measurement, experimental design, and leveraging predictive analytics to drive performance marketing outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with C-level stakeholders: Articulate complex concepts to key decision-makers, facilitating their understanding and guiding them toward making informed, data-driven decisions that align with our growth strategy
  • Design and execute marketing experiments: Lead initiatives on both the performance marketing front and within Customer Relationship Management (CRM), employing a rigorous testing approach to optimise strategies and drive business growth
  • Lead by example in hands-on development: Take a proactive and direct role in the ideation, development, and implementation of innovative growth tactics. This includes both the strategic measurement of initiatives and their practical execution, demonstrating a commitment to achieving results through action.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Data Skills: Demonstrated mastery in crafting and optimising complex SQL queries and managing large datasets. Can use Python/R for data analysis and exploration. Can build a dashboard if needed
  • Problem-solving and Adaptability: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges, coupled with the adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as needed
  • Nice to have: Practical experience with API integrations and connecting systems, particularly with third-party services such as Google, Facebook, Firebase, and AppsFlyer AND/OR Proficiency in Python for script writing, task automation, and improving integration processes.

Other Skills:

  • Communication skills: Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders. Collaborate closely with our Marketing team, understanding their needs and requirements to deliver data-driven insights. This involves clear communication regarding integration processes, challenges encountered, and findings, ensuring that the team is well-informed and aligned with the project’s progress
  • Experimental design & measurement: Knowledge and experience with experimental design and measurement for performance marketing and CRM activities. Familiarity with sparse, fat-tailed distributions would be advantageous
  • Predictive Modelling: Ability to evaluate results of predictive models and predictive modeling techniques. Apply these insights to optimise growth strategies, enhancing the effectiveness of performance advertising efforts and customer retention initiatives
  • Adtech Passion: A strong interest and passion for ad tech and performance advertising, with a desire to stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. Familiarity with Google, Facebook, Firebase, AppsFlyer, and other services would be advantageous.
