Role Purpose

  • Develop and implement effective data analytics strategies to support organizational decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data models for metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive reports.
  • Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards for easy data visualization and interpretation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve analytics tools and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members in data analytics projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in analytics and reporting technologies.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of analytics reports.
  • Independently manage data modeling and reporting projects, with minimal supervision.
  • Build industry-leading, scalable, and intuitive technical reporting and measurement solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of data security, compliance, and standardization.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to understand and meet their data analysis needs and requirements.
  • Continuously improve analytics processes for enhanced performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Agriculture, Plant Breeding or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in building and maintaining reports to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Capacity to lead projects and guide team members in analytics-related tasks.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
