YOUR ROLE

As the Business Intelligence Specialist for our office at Rosedale Auckland, you will be responsible for managing data retrieval, analysis of the data, and the development of reports and dashboards using the best-in-class tools for the clients serviced by the Advanced Lifecycle Planning Services (ALPS) team.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Developing Power BI reports based on desired specifications
  • Accountable for the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence reporting suite 
  • Assist with the maintenance of database parameters and onboarding of new database
  • Gather business requirements for the Business intelligence unit and assist with training and delivery of end outcome
  • Assist with the building and testing of new functionality and have a keen interest in exploring machine learning innovation projects
  • Support wider CEVA business units with reporting requirements and weekly reporting cadence
  • Analysis of client’s supply chain, identifying and reporting areas of improvement using data analysis tools.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate has experience in Business Intelligence & Database Maintenance in 3PL warehouse operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.

 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics Management / Computer Science / Finance or Business is desirable
  • Experience with delivering BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools is required
  • Experience with using enterprise level tools, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Management Systems (or similar)
  • High financial, analytical, critical reasoning, verbal, written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems, software and technologies
  • Supply Chain Management APICS qualification is desirable.
