As a Central Team Operations Excellence Data Engineer, your key responsibility is to propose and implement operations excellence / Lean initiatives which enable labor productivity improvement, machine utilization/OEE throughput maximization, space efficiency, cycle time reduction and quality/yield improvements. 
You are expected to be equipped with deep knowledge or identified as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of Lean 6 Sigma and Factory Physics concepts such as Theory of Constraint etc that will deliver competitive and quality results in Assembly & Test network sites. 
You will be required to make use of your strong data mining and visualization skills, coupled with your analytical ability to identify opportunities, structure sustainable solutions/business process and effectively collaborate with various functions (OE/Cost/Cycle Time) to roll out implementations towards Best in Class operations. You will be working closely with the Operations Excellence team integrate initiatives to deliver operations goals in Productivity (labour/machine throughput/space efficiency), efficiency (Cost/Cycle time/Space) and the sharing of Best Known Methods (BKM).

Roles & responsibilities can include but are not limited to

Diagnostics of site performance based on Operational excellence metrics

• Measuring network operational performance by defining, tracking, and reporting KPIs to create transparency for management and other customers.
• Provide insights and diagnostics conclusions through data analysis, giving prescriptive recommendations.
• Set statistical target to achieve operational goals
• Creating global tracking dashboard and deeper tiered critical-to metrics

Development of centralized platform/governance and roadmap for operational excellence

• Drive Labour productivity through touchpoint elimination and process optimization or lot size improvement
• Improve constraint Machine utilization and throughput improvement to increase uptime and reduce machine losses, such as alarms, stoppages etc.
• Optimize space efficiency through layout optimization.

Collaboration with Site Multi-functional Team and proliferate network best practices

• Coaching and supporting projects and employees in implementing methods, such as value stream analysis, process mapping, and standardization of modules and process steps.
• Design and delivery of Lean Manufacturing/Operations Excellence trainings to improve the maturity of a Lean/Continuous improvement culture
• Networking across the organization to ensure coherence of operational excellence activities along work processes end-to-end, and achieving buy-in of key organizational customers (“connecting the dots”)
