As a Staff Software Engineer focused on machine learning operations, you are an experienced Software Engineer with a deep understanding of generative AI and machine learning operations. You can lead and mentor a team. You are motivated, enthusiastic, and focused with a real passion for Software Engineering. You play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the infrastructure and processes that support the deployment, monitoring, and management of generative AI features and machine learning models.

In your daily routine, you will: 

• Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure for deploying and managing generative AI and machine learning models in production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI and machine learning solutions into our overall software architecture (i.e data scientists, researchers, and other engineering teams) 
• Develop automated workflows and orchestration systems to streamline the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models and generative AI systems
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for ML and generative AI applications
• Use infrastructure as code to stand up and maintain the system infrastructure
• Identify and address bottlenecks in the machine learning workflow to ensure optimal performance and scalability
• Implement solutions for efficient model serving, monitoring, and logging
• Establish robust monitoring and logging systems to track the performance of deployed machine learning models and generative AI systems
• Develop tools for proactive issue detection and resolution to ensure system reliability
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture

We think that this offer is for you if you:

• ✅ 5+ years experience in software engineering 
• ✅ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (Advanced degree or focus in Machine Learning preferred) 
• ✅ 3+ years experience with common web application languages (i.e Python, Ruby, or Golang) Python preferred
• ✅ Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, or Terragrunt preferred
• ✅ Experience with Machine Learning operations (LLM applications, model lifecycle management)
