Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Implement and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Develop and optimize databases and data storage solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend improvements or enhancements to existing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
• Familiarity with data warehousing technologies such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
