Software Tech Lead / Software Architect C++ - Medical Imaging Applications (Plymouth, MN)

We are looking for:

A highly skilled and experienced Software Tech Lead / Software Architect with expertise in C++ to serve as our Technical Lead for intravascular imaging and functional measurement application suite. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in C++, experience with QT-like UI frameworks and expertise in modern CI/CD techniques with GitHub.

Your role:

  • Lead a software development teams to deliver differentiated clinical software applications that radically improve ease-of-use of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and hemodynamic diagnostic devices through x-ray and device co-registration and application of artificial intelligence strategies in both coronary vascular and peripheral vascular procedures. Learn more here, IntraSight and from our physician partners.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of C++ developers by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, emphasizing the critical importance of innovative, accurate, and reliable medical software.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, industry regulations, and development best practices in the medical software domain.

  • Stay abreast of advancements in medical imaging technology and software development methodologies.  Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality while adhering to regulatory standards.

You're the right fit if:

  • 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience.

  • Excellent programming and design skills in modern C++ and very familiar with implementing graphical user interfaces (for example with frameworks such as QT) on Windows, Mac or Linux desktop environments.

  • Willingness and ability to communicate and share knowledge across teams.

  • strong in collaboration with a broad variety of stakeholders including marketing, regulatory, quality, program management, systems engineering, and business leadership system engineering.

  • Master's degree in computer science (or equivalent).

  • You are able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this hybrid position.
