We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for working with data, and experience in YAML and SQL. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights.

The customer is an educational technology company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the developer and publisher of a web-based learning management system and a massive open online course (MOOC) platform. Millions of students and teachers around the world use the customer’s products.

Requirements

  • Proven 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Competency in YAML and SQL
  • Background in working with large datasets and relational databases
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

English level

Upper-Intermediate+

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify data needs
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement solutions to address issues as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management
