Internship Overview

Verusen is seeking a motivated and creative Data Analysis Intern to join our dynamic team and develop a cutting-edge ChatGPT Assistant. This exciting role will have you immersed in data wrangling, generative techniques, and user interface (UI) design. You'll play a key role in enhancing our platform's ability to explain product recommendations, transforming the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze recommendations from our platform.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for recommendation-related data.
• Generate creative and informative sample write-ups to explain recommendations.
• Experiment with ChatGPT models to produce user-friendly explanations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate the ChatGPT Assistant.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python or other data analysis programming languages.
• Familiarity with data extraction, manipulation, and cleaning techniques.
• Creativity and problem-solving attitude for building explainable AI.
• Interest in natural language processing and generative models (GPT-3, etc.)
• Basic understanding of user interface design principles.
• Ability to adapt to fast-moving and changing dynamic environment.

Additional Internship Details

• We are targeting a start date of May 28, 2024
• Internship end date is flexible dependent upon individual availability
• Work will take place during business hours Tuesday - Friday weekly, targeting ~32 hours per week
• This is a remote opportunity for US-based applicants. If you are in Atlanta, the option to work alongside colleagues in our Midtown HQ is an additional benefit.
