Data Strategist (100% Remote)

Job Description

Join our remote team as a Data Strategist where you will provide strategic guidance and expertise in data management, analytics, and business intelligence to our Federal Client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data trends, technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Position Duties:

• Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data initiatives.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and optimize data architecture and infrastructure.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide strategic guidance.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on data strategy.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members in developing data-related skills.

Qualifications

Required Skillset:

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience as a Data Strategist.
• In-depth knowledge of data management, data governance, and business intelligence principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired Skillset:

• Experience working with the Federal Government.
• Experience working in a Cloud environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical field of study.

Clearance Requirement:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship Required
