Technical Project Manager (AI and Machine Learning team)

The AI Core Dev team, comprised of Research, Engineering and Project Management, build AI capabilities across Nasdaq’s entire portfolio of products. Our specialized team has brought AI powered indexes, data Integrity products, and the world’s first ai powered option listing system to market.  As a cutting-edge research and engineering organization this role will be critical to ensuring that the latest AI advances solve real challenges in capital markets and drives inclusive and transparent economic growth around the world.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager in the vibrant tech hub of Vilnius, Lithuania. This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology, AI, and machine learning, looking to kickstart their project management career in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing and coordinating project activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan project timelines, set goals, and track progress.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support the project manager in identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Organize and facilitate team meetings, providing meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Act as a liaison between team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective communication.
• Assist in the implementation of project management tools and methodologies to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant work experience
• Strong interest in tech, AI, and machine learning with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana is desirable.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
