Ypto bouwt van achter de schermen mee aan de digitale transformatie en ICT-infrastructuur van de Belgische spoorwegen, NMBS.The Automation and Data Analyst is a key role that helps to improve efficiency and innovation by using automation and data analysis in the organization. This position is essential for assisting different departments by using technology to simplify processes, improve decision-making, and increase business performance. Working closely with the Workforce Manager and Process Excellence Manager, the Automation and Data Analyst will be crucial in finding areas for automation, applying solutions, and offering useful insights through data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with especially the Workforce Manager, on specific initiatives with the Process Excellence Manager and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and data-driven improvements.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks using tools such as Excel macros, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing reporting capabilities, including Power BI dashboards and Excel reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data presentation.
- Serve as a backup for reporting responsibilities, including generating, analyzing, and distributing reports as needed.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify areas for optimization and automation, striving for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the development and maintenance of PowerApps for process automation and data collection, leveraging knowledge and skills in app development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their automation needs and provide timely solutions to improve workflows and productivity.
- Conduct data analysis to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Document automation processes, best practices, and data analysis methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends related to automation, data analysis, and process improvement, and proactively apply them to enhance organizational capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and automation tools.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively
- Experience or familiarity with PowerApps development is a plus.
- Thrive on implementing automation solutions and improving processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and improve business outcomes.
