Job Summary

AI Maestros are the secret sauce of our success recipe. They specialize in one or more fields of AI and use that in-depth knowledge to design and craft masterpiece solutions for our clients and navigate each project to the finish line with absolute excellence and professionalism. Senior Fellows have a broad view of the IT and AI landscape, which combined with a visionary mindset creates extraordinary solutions of high value and impact which inspires clients to trust Xenon7 with their most challenging problems.

In this role, you will become part of the Maestros team, which plays a critical part in client-facing activities, but is also responsible for delivering solutions to clients. You will participate in pre-sales activities as a matter and domain expert who understands client needs in-depth and can propose solutions, prototype them, and ensure high-quality delivery of the solutions.

AI Maestro in the field of Neuromorphic Engineering possesses knowledge and experience in areas such as:

  • Neuromorphic Hardware: This subfield focuses on the physical realization of artificial neural networks through the design and fabrication of specialized hardware components. These components, often referred to as neuromorphic chips or systems, aim to mimic the behavior of biological neurons and synapses using various materials and techniques. Some prominent examples include memristors, spiking neural networks, and neuromorphic processors, each offering unique advantages and challenges in replicating the brain's intricate processing capabilities.
  • Neuromorphic Algorithms and Learning: This subfield revolves around developing algorithms and learning techniques specifically tailored for neuromorphic hardware. Unlike traditional AI algorithms designed for von Neumann architectures, these algorithms must be adapted to the specific constraints and characteristics of neuromorphic systems. This includes exploring novel learning paradigms, such as spike-based learning and unsupervised learning, to enable efficient training and adaptation on neuromorphic platforms.
  • Neuromorphic Software and System Design: This subfield addresses the challenge of bridging the gap between neuromorphic hardware and the software applications that utilize its capabilities. It encompasses the development of specialized software tools, programming languages, and system architectures that seamlessly interface with neuromorphic hardware. This includes designing efficient communication protocols, managing memory access, and developing high-level programming frameworks for exploiting the unique features of these novel computing platforms.
  • Neuromorphic Applications and Benchmarking: This subfield focuses on exploring the potential applications of neuromorphic systems in various domains and evaluating their performance against traditional AI approaches. This involves identifying tasks and applications that are well-suited for the strengths and limitations of neuromorphic hardware, such as pattern recognition, image processing, and real-time decision making in resource-constrained environments. Furthermore, developing standardized benchmarks and performance metrics is crucial for objectively comparing the capabilities of different neuromorphic platforms and algorithms.

Responsibilities:

As AI Maestro, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with business leaders to identify problems that can be resolved using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
  • Actively participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate our capabilities and relevant use cases and understand client’s needs and problems
  • Participate in the Discovery phase of a project to uncover real needs and possibilities, specify in detail the scope of the project, and use domain expertise to propose architecture for solutions
  • Provide accurate time and resource estimates for a project and define the major milestones
  • Identify potential risks and challenges on a project and how to overcome them
  • Act as a subject matter expert on projects to navigate them across the finish line while ensuring high-quality execution and deliverables
  • Propose and participate in the selection of the team for a project
  • Communicate and present to the client the progress of projects
  • Ensure AI ethics and other SecOps principles are properly implemented on projects
  • Contribute to the improvement of Xenon’s assessment and delivery process
  • Contribute to developing Xenon’s domain capabilities, content, and competitiveness
